My 101 Goals

Here are the 101 goals that I have chosen to complete during the next 1001 days. Split into categories, I’ve tried to incorporate as many areas of my life as possible.

Each completed (or in-progress) goal will have its own accompanying blog entry, and shortly you’ll be able to click [more info] beside each goal to read why I chose it and how I will consider it complete.

Struckthrough goals are completed goals.

Italicised goals are in progress.

001. Upgrade my camera body
002. Upgrade one of my kit lenses
003. Take myself on 5 photo-walks
004. Frame and display one or more of my photographs at home
005. Complete the ‘50 in 50mm’ challenge
006. Complete three ‘Day in the Life’ challenges
007. Enter a photography competition
008. Learn about Photoshop actions

009. Hold a tea party
010. Eat a banana
011. Attend a Farmer’s Market
012. Cook with five unfamiliar vegetables
013. Bake a loaf of bread from scratch
014. Learn to make homemade ice cream
015. Take a cake decorating class
016. Try three new cheeses
017. Try out 50 new recipes
018. Eat French toast in five different cafes

019. Use the Wii Fit daily for a month
020. Take a class for two styles of dance I’ve never tried
021. Get an hour’s extra sleep per night for a month
022. Drink 1.5L of water daily for three months
023. Use a Mooncup for three complete menstrual cycles
024. Regularly visit a naturopath over a twelve-month period
025. Get a professional massage
026. Give blood

027. Attend professional development for a topic I’m unfamiliar with
028. Attend a teaching conference outside of the compulsory/expected ones
029. Get my certificates/qualifications ready to start emergency teaching again
030. Better my time management skills around the start/end of Kindergarten sessions
031. Re-register for the Validation process
032. Complete and apply for Validation to become an ‘Accomplished Teacher’
033. Complete a ‘Learning Journal’ entry every week for a school year
034. Don’t go into work on a weekend for two months

035. Ride in a hot air balloon
036. See snow
037. Relax on a beach
038.Visit a day spa
039. Attend an anime convention
040. Attend a different kind of convention
041. Watch a sunset from the highest naturally-formed point in Melbourne
042. Visit five markets I’ve never been to before
043. Travel to a country outside of Australia
044. Use an aeroplane toilet on the flight between Melbourne and Hobart (or vice versa)
045. Celebrate my 30th birthday in style!

046. Complete 20 video games
047. Get to 10 generations in The Sims 2
048. Read 50 books
049. Read 10 books that aren’t from the science fiction or fantasy genres
050. Watch five complete anime series that I’m unfamiliar with
051. Learn to play a strategy boardgame

052. Scrapbook six months
053. Scrapbook a year
054. Scrapbook our wedding pictures
055. Buy a digital scrapbooking kit instead of downloading a ‘freebie’
056. Make a photobook out of our New Zealand pictures
057. Order a completed project book online
058. Make homemade Christmas cards
059. Make five homemade birthday cards

060. Go on a date night once per month for a year
061. Make an effort to go five places with my husband that are outside my interests
062. Give a just-because-a-love-you present
063. Perform a striptease
064. Seduce by moonlight

065. Plant a herb garden
066. Throw a housewarming party
067. Clean out the pantry every six months and post the strangest thing found
068. Get overhead cupboards installed in my kitchen
069. Organisation of my out-of-season clothing
070. Find the perfect cereal bowl(s)
071. Paint a feature wall
072. Plant a fruit tree
073. Host a dress-up party
074. Add something decorative to my bedroom wall
075. Turn the second bedroom into a functioning office/spare room
076. Minimise cleaning products in my house
077. Unpack all moving boxes

078. Throw away all of the old make-up that I’ve amassed over the years
079. Embrace a type of fashion that I’ve previously shied away from
080. Get my eyebrows professionally waxed
081. Try a new hair colour
082. Find a unique set-up for displaying my jewellery

For Others
083. Give away items to charity five separate times
084. Freecycle 20 items
085. Arrange an evening out for me and my work colleagues
086. Send someone a care package
087. Talk to my Dad in person at least once per month for a year
088. Meet five of my online friends in person that I’ve never met before
089. Help three friends with a goal from their Mission 101 lists

090. Adopt a friend for my Cockatiel
091. Change all accounts to my married name
092. Share a month’s worth of reflections on life’s little things
093. Leave a permanent mark somewhere in my housing estate
094. Sell five things on Ebay
095. Hold a newborn baby
096. Finish an entire book of crossword puzzles
097. Celebrate Christmas in a different way
098. Assemble something completely on my own
099. Finish all uncompleted tax packs
100. Prove to myself that I *can* be an early person

The List
101. Write a Mission 101 list and publish it to my blog
           (a) Write a blog entry on my progress at least once per month
           (b) Reassess every six months for outdated/irrelevant goals
           (c) Complete at least 75% of the goals on my list by September 29th, 2012
           (d) Celebrate Day 1001!

Whooo! You got some good ones there. 😀 I’m still twigging mine. Some needs to be changed, you’ve made me think about it and how much I can achieve.

It took me ages to come up with the list Colby, don’t be afraid to change some of your goals… I reckon in six months (or even a year’s time) I’ll still be ‘twigging’ mine too!

Hehe we have some same goals that are worded differently!! But you have given me some ideas 🙂 looking forward to our journey together!! I havnt wooed out my end date, my start was yesterday I decided hehe
